D-Shackles: Essential item for vehicle recovery whilst on road or off road, commonly used together with recovery snatch straps, tree trunk protectors, winch extension straps and snatch blocks to secure a synthetic rope winch cable or snatch strap.
Snatch Block: A snatch block is a pulley with a side plate that swings open so you can feed a winch cable through to the wheel itself. The snatch block changes the direction of pull and it doubles the power of the winch through mechanical advantage.
Winch Damper: Winching using a Steel Cable is one of the most dangerous aspects of vehicle recovery as the cable stores kinetic energy. If the line or a connection point breaks under pressure, it can become a deadly projectile. A winch dampener will help to keep you and your vehicle safe.
